Janice Findley produces and directs "theater of image" creating a unique theatrical universe for each of her productions often working with fine artists who work peripherally in theatre. She has most recently produced & directed Caryl Churchill's "The Skriker" in association with Pat Graney at the Erickson Theatre. She has produced and directed Samuel Beckett's "Footfalls", "Rockaby" & "Eh Joe" and Harold Pinter's "Landscape" (Seattle Times Footlight Award) at New City Theater. Janice is known for creating unique experimental narrative films that fashion subterranean worlds of emotion that evoke waking dreams and are by turns menacing, inviting and funny. She has been honored by a retrospective at MoMA, NYC, and has work in their permanent collection.
