After graduating from University of Washington's School of Drama and a year of graduate study at San Francisco State College, I performed both as a music director/conductor and actor with many of the burgeoning theater companies in Seattle. Acting was my first love, so I moved to New York and found a lot of opportunities. Within a month I was cast in my first showcase and hired for my first road tour a month after that.
After spending the better part of 2 years on the road with Sound of Music and My Fair Lady, I decided to stay in NYC, auditioning when I could, playing piano in a number of theater district clubs and restaurants, arranging night club acts and working on several daytime dramas. I took a brief respite from performing to manage the Joffrey III Ballet Touring Company and then answered the call of the sea becoming a music director/performer on a number of cruise lines, sailing throughout the waters of Central and South America.
The Great Northwest lured me back after 10 years in NYC. Shortly after arriving, I landed a great, long-term gig playing the piano in two downtown lobbies as well as being the spokesperson for the property management company. I was also able to perform with the Rainier Symphony in several of their pops concerts and hosted a popular nightclub showcase.
I recently decided that it was time to return to my true passion, Acting expanding my abilities into print and runway modeling, as well. I feel I am at the right age at the right time. Just last year I signed with a great agent and am auditioning for commercials, movies, live theater, voice-overs, print/modeling jobs and will continue learning my craft and expanding my performance horizons as far as my imagination will take me.
If, indeed, all the worlds a stage, than Im going to play every part I can.
Please remember, to err is human, to moo, bovine.
