(AKA Don Sammann) Don directed Famous Last Words in Burien Little Theatre's 2009 new play festival. He played Brabantio and Lodovico in Balagan Theatre's production of Othello and has played Falstaff outdoors with Seattle's Greenstage in all the plays in which the character appears. He appeared as Caliban in Greenstage's The Tempest two summers ago. Other favorite roles include 11 men and women in Tuna Christmas at Spokane Interplayers and Professor Van Helsing in Steven Dietz' Dracula. He has appeared in TV commercials (he was a biker dude in Washington Lottery's tandem motorcycle ad), pilots and obscure independent feature and short films including as the Dad in Shag Carpet Sunrise and as "God" in Punch. Don is a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena, CA where he was awarded the Katharine Hepburn scholarship.
