Rebecca Peterson is a frequent concert and theater performer, most recently seen in Die Zauberflöte, (Erste Dame, German Vocal Arts Institute), Norma (Clotilde, Norma cover, Skagit Opera), Don Giovanni (Donna Elvira, Toronto Summer Opera Workshop); and in concert excerpts as Countess Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro, Seattle Opera Guild previews) and the title role of Anna Bolena (Puget Sound Concert Opera previews).
A huge fan of presenting opera to new audiences, Peterson also frequently performs for variety shows with Sister Leigh Love Productions.
Music theatre roles include Smitty (How to Succeed in Business...), Sarah Brown (Guys and Dolls), Sheridan/Sister/Young Girl (A...My Name is Alice), Helena Landless (The Mystery of Edwin Drood), and Eve (Eve and Eddie).
She has performed in concert masterclass for soprano Deborah Voigt and is an OperaWorks Advanced Artist Program alumna (2014). She is also a former Missoula Children’s Theatre Tour Actor (2009-10), and also a classically trained bassist. Bass resume available on request.
