Carol Louise Thompson is an actor and playwright living in Seattle. As an actor some of her favorite collaborators are Café Nordo, Seattle Public Theater, ARTBARN, Village Theater, ACT Theatre, Washington Ensemble Theatre, Northwest New Works Fest, The Satori Group, Strawberry Theater Workshop, and One Coast Collaboration. Ms. Thompson has been nominated for a Gregory Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress. Her play GOD AND OTHER CHARACTERS was performed in Seattle at the Solo Performance Festival. Her play A CHRISTMAS CAROL THOMPSON was performed in the home and bathtub of a private residence. Her play THIS SHOW IS ABOUT PROGRESS was workshopped at Williams College with the Satori Group. It will be performed this fall with the help of a grant from the Seattle Office of Arts and Culture. As a musical comedy improviser Ms. Thompson has performed at the Seattle Festival of Improv Theater, Chicago Improv Festival, and the Vancouver Fringe Festival. As a teacher Ms. Thompson She is currently working on a solo show based on her experience as a type one diabetic.
