Rehearsing & performing OTHELLO with Fern Shakespeare Company in Nov/Dec.
Rachel attended the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in Perth, Australia and then spent 16 years traveling the length and breadth of the U.K. during her professional career. Rachel enjoyed a lively career before her move to the U.S. 11 years ago. Interesting theater roles include: Sophie in THE BFG (E&B Productions), Lady Anne in RICHARD III and Petruchio in TAMING OF THE SHREW (Illyria Theatre), Jane in PRIDE & PREJUDICE (Snap Theatre Co), Dolores in TINSEL - A HOLLYWOOD FABLE (one-woman play performed on tour). Rachel also had the opportunity to act on film with Ralph Fiennes in SPIDER (David Cronenberg) and as Tiffany-Marie with Simon Pegg in TV’s LAUGH UNTIL YOU DIE. Rachel has also narrated a 2-part documentary UP ON THE DOWNS for ITV, improvised with Theatre Sports in London, annually directs AP World History students at EHS in Shakespeare scenes from Macbeth … and spent 3 years as an aerobatic Wing-Walker for the Cadbury’s Crunchie Flying Circus.
