Chadwick Taylor is a director focused on physically adventurous new work and musical theatre. Recent projects include A Bright New Boise by Samuel Hunter at the Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film, Not One Drop by Morag Shepard and Facing East by Carol Lynn Pearson.
Chadwick has worked and studied with distinguished companies such as The Utah Shakespeare Festival, Tuacahn Center for the Arts, The Jonny Carson School of Theatre and Film, Scera Center for the Arts, and Thanksgiving Point.
Chadwick is an alum of the The Kennedy Center Directing Intensive, Directors Lab North, Directors Lab West, and the Open Jar Institute. He served as a Rye Fellow with the International Performing Arts for Youth. Chadwick has taught junior high and high school theatre. As a teacher he garnished numerous awards in directing and led his students to two State Championships. Chadwick is a proponent for the arts and knows that students’ academic careers thrive with the arts in their lives.
Chadwick holds a BS in Theatre Arts and Broadcasting from Southern Utah University and an MFA in Directing for Stage and Screen and a minor in Musical Theatre from The Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film at the University of Nebraska.
