Monique is a an actor and singer. Her  recent credits include A Very Die Hard Christmas (Sgt. Al Powell),  and Avenue Q (Gary Coleman). She has participated in staged readings such as "The Shape of Trust," produced by the City of Seattle's Race & Social Justice Initiative and directed by Sara Porkalob, and "The Clinic", a Planned Parenthood fundraiser produced by Copious Theater and directed by Aviona Rodriguez-Brown. She also has an ongoing working relationship with Dinner Detective, a mystery dinner theater production. Currently she is in rehearsals for Witch Prison, which will be playing at TPS Theater 4 October 3rd-6th. 
In her free time, Monique enjoys singing in the Seattle Ladies Choir, which she joined in 2012. She was an inaugural member of the Seattle Karaoke League, competing in seasons 1-3. Her lifetime capacity for memorizing random facts was finally rewarded when she competed as a contestant on Jeopardy! in 2014. 
In 2005, Monique graduated from the University of Central Missouri with a B.A in Psychology and a minor in Spanish, in which she retains a moderate fluency.
