My name is Katrina Rose Agnew (Kat) and I am a 23 year old Theatre Art’s Instructor for Class Act School of Performing Arts. In addition, I have taught for Theater Arts Guild, Fidalgo Danceworks and META Performing Arts. I also work for When You Wish Events as Rapunzel, Princess Anna, Elsa, and The Little Mermaid.

I am a professionally trained mezzo vocalist (3 octave voice, stretching from one octave below middle C to two octaves above.) I have a strong and well-developed belting range; however, I know how to blend in with a chorus. I have performed in competition choirs since I was 14 years old (Treble Choir, Jazz Ensemble, Show Choir, etc) and performed with said choirs at Disney World.

I have trained with Seattle’s Theatre Critic, David Edward Hughes and recently performed in a revue singing alongside Broadway Star’s Jason Graae and Faith Prince.

I have directed, stage managed, worked the light board, backstage crew, make-up, etc. I try to learn everything I can! I have a tenacious spirit and huge heart. I am looking to focus my work in Seattle and eventually move there. Travel is no problem for me, but once I can get enough work… My hope is to move there and commit 100% to Theatre (whether performing or teaching.)

I am currently assisting in the development of a new musical titled, “The Whipping Boy Project,” which focuses on the psychological effects of childhood abuse. You can listen to the demo at: https://youtu.be/quthxGJykS8
