Sydney is a writer and actor originally from Canton, Ohio, where she first fostered a love for community arts. As a woman with a disability, she is particularly passionate about the representation of people of all abilities onstage. She has worked for three years in Seattle as an immigrant rights and education policy advocate. Favorite onstage credits include Star in John Lennon and Me, Peter Quince in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Mama Noah in Children of Eden, Grumio in The Taming of the Shrew, Alice in Alice in Wonderland, and a myriad of comedic cameos in original works by her good friends. She is a former touring member of Page to Stage, a production company which brought live theater to elementary schools in northeastern Ohio. Most recently, she appeared in Parley's production of Julieta Vitullo's About Marilyn as Marilyn. Sydney has also toured the midwest and the south with the Marietta College Concert Choir, in which she served as soprano section leader.
