Valerie Ryan Miller is a Seattle transplant from NYC, where she attended Barnard College & appeared in lots of strange experimental theater at La MaMa, P.S. 122, Dixon Place, and Theater for the New City.  She has been enchanted by the theatrical community in the Pacific Northwest, where she recently appeared as the non-titular role of Nina in Tacoma Arts Live’s production of Vanya & Sonia & Masha & Spike. Nominated for an Encore Award for her performance in Neil Labute's Bash, Valerie's favorite film/TV appearances include Mac & Cheese with Julia Garner and dancing in a space suit on Nickelodeon’s Team Umizoomi.

Behind the scenes, Valerie has contributed choreography to Seussical Jr. (Abu Dhabi International School), The Addams Family (Abu Dhabi Choral Group), Professor Von Awesome's Ghost Hunting Safari (The Serious Theatre Collective, NYC), as well the first Glee Club in the United Arab Emirates.
