A Multicultural Playwrights Festival where her play Creatures of a Day was a winning selection.  Other theatre credits include The King Stag, Ghostwritten, Inspecting Carol, On Your Way Here (Seattle Repertory Theatre); Our Town (Intiman Theatre); Love’s Labour’s Lost (Seattle Shakespeare Company); The King and I (Village Theatre); The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Contemporary Classics); Edmond (Balagan Theatre); The Realm of Whispering Ghosts, Intelligent Design of Jenny Chow (Seattle Public Theater).

TV/film credits include Amazon's Man In The High Castle, The Scottish Play, The Unspeakable Art of Seduction; commercial spots for Seattle Sounders, Delta Airlines; industrials for Boeing, Starbucks, Apple, and Microsoft.

Kelly received her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Suzuki movement training from the University of Washington School of Drama studying with Robyn Hunt, Steve Pearson, Shanga Parker, and Mark Jenkins.  A classically trained soprano and violinist, Kelly performs regularly with the social justice mission-driven choir Seattle Peace Chorus.

Kelly also holds a Bachelor of Science in Cell & Molecular Biology from the University of Washington.  Her collaboration with Infinity Box Theatre's 'Thought Experiments on the Question of Being Human: Genetics & Synthetic Biology' and UW's Genetic Engineering research department resulted in her first published work Nature's Frivolity -- a one-act play loosely based on Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream -- about Genetics, Nature, Love, and music by Ed Sheeran.

Up next:  Kelly will be performing the role of Laura in the musical Goblin Market, lead by Sound Theatre Company's Artistic Director Teresa Thuman & music director Nathan Young, opening this August.
