BOEING BOEING

"Driftwood veteran Cindy Giese French doesn’t want to steal the show, but she does very naturally, with her hilarious portrayal of Berthe, the housekeeper. Her timing is perfect, her shocked expressions priceless." - Gale Fiege, The Everett Herald

"Berthe played by Cindy Giese French... carry the comedy with hysterical overreactions to each of the many plot twists and turns." - L. Steven Sieden, Huffington Post

"The roaring ovation for Giese French as the curtain fell on opening night was unquestionably well-deserved." - Emily Hill, My Edmonds News

"The overworked irritable cook and housekeeper is played perfectly by Cindy Giese French who shows wonderful comedic timing as she careens from one crisis to the next." - Victoria Gilleland, Shoreline Area News

SUITE SURRENDER

"Except that this production is a cut above standard community theater fare. Reason No. 1: Cindy Giese French. Last seen as Berthe the maid in Driftwood’s top-notch production of “Boeing Boeing,” French has the elastic face of some of the greatest comedians of the World War II era, including Martha Raye and Red Skelton." - Gale Fiege, The Everett Herald

"Giese French captivated the audience with her performance of the 1940 hit Bésame Mucho, stepping out of her Funny Girl role during an amazing interlude. But moreover she brought down the house with her vamp-walk, her intimidation tactics – made legendary, and her characterization of a true stage diva." - Emily Hill, My Edmonds News

2015 BroadwayWorld Seattle - Best Featured Actress in a Play (Local) - Cindy Giese French - Boeing Boeing - Driftwood Players
