I am a character actress with comedic timing and talent. Having been told years ago in New York that I would come into my own when I hit my 40's I now feel that I have hit my stride. I can play housewives to hookers, Jewish mothers to New York career executives. My New York accent is authentic (all boroughs) with just the right inflection. Training: Seattle: Heidi Walker, Jodi Rothfeld, Andrew Tsao, Aaron Levin. New York City: Edward Morehouse of HB Studios, Circle in the Square B.A. in Theater/Speech from Colorado State University.
Character actress: Gingy in Love, Loss and What I Wore, Ethel Klayman in Book-It Reperatory's production of Kavalier and Clay . Most recently for a music video for the R&B singer Allen Stone. Director and member of Studio4.
New York: Performed various literary pieces in a one-woman show "Sabinka" (about my cousin murdered in the Holocaust). Definitely not a comedy. The Mayor's Council on the Arts, The NOHO Gallery NYC Jewish Welfare Board's NYC's five borough tour The Atlantic Theater Workshop (Now Theater Tweed). Other: Corporate training and facilitator. Presented programs and spoke in conferences worldwide for The U.S. State Department, The U.N. Development Fund, China International Travel Service and various companies in Asia, Europe and the U.S. Cross cultural trainer and coach.
