After a 27 year absence from the theatre, I have returned to my first love again. In my twenties, I had a significant professional acting/singing career, primarily in the upper Midwest and Ohio Valley. This included voice-over work and radio jingle singing, as well as some club work as an "American Classic Songbook" singer.

In the two past years,I directed a production of Mujeres de Arena/Women of Sand at the UW Ethnic Cultural Theatre, appeared on stage in five productions at Burien Little Theatre, Annex Theatre, and with the Vashon Players, and created and directed a performance piece for a statewide summit of Latino leaders. I am the co-founder of a new theatre production and community engagement organization, Latino Theatre Projects, and act as its Executive Director and grant writer.

I have been teaching theatre arts to low-income and immigrant children, as well as producing our performances of Mujeres de Arena and the performance piece, Voces y Raices/Voices and Roots. This past summer, I was Executive Producer for our productions of Anna in the Tropics by Nilo Cruz and a professional revival of Mujeres de Arena and have begun working as Producer of our upcoming production of Beauty of the Father, again by Cruz.

My current goal is to continue reviving my career as a professional theatre artist through Latino Theatre Projects and other stage pieces and to pursue voice-over, film, and television opportunities as a performer/actor.
