Samantha grew up in the theatre, and has been performing since she was 8. She graduated from Florida State University's School of Theatre in 2009 with her BA In Theatre. She is also a 2008 graduate of Theatre Academy London, where she studied dialects, playwriting, and Shakespeare. From 2009 - 2010 she was the Education Director of Pensacola Little Theatre in her hometown of Pensacola, FL. After spending the year teaching 8 classes a week for all ages, developing new programs, and directing/managing the grant-funded Beyond Boundaries outreach program, as well as working with the Southeastern Teen Shakespeare Co. and the Lab Rats Junior Improv Troupe, she decided it would be fantastic to pack it all up and move to the West Coast just to see what the fuss was all about. Since arriving in Seattle in August 2010, she has worked at Village Theatre KIDSTAGE, Broadway Bound Children's Theatre, Seattle Musical Theatre, and spent a year serving as SecondStory Repertory's Education Director. She has a special love for Shakespeare, Beckett, and improv comedy. She is currently a student in UW's Directing for Stage and Screen certification program. Favorite directing credits include Never the Sinner, Dear Edwina, Jr, The Dancing Princess, Schoolhouse Rock Live! Jr, Getting Lucky, Happy Birthday Leonard and Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good Very Bad Day. Favorite costume design credits include Joseph and the..., The Lion In Winter, and Comedy Of Errors. Favorite acting credits: Chicago, Nunsense, The Goat: Or, Who Is Sylvia, Alice In Wonderland, and Victor/Victoria.
