Rob graduated from the University of Evansville with a degree in Theatre Design and Technology, with a focus on Stage Management / Sound Design. He also completed an intensive program in Directing.

The first full length play he directed was Yazmina Reza's "Art" which starred his dad. Since that production he has directed "Noises Off," Strindberg's "A Dream Play" "Blinding Pains" a new adaptation of Oedipus Rex, and part of Ghost Light Theatricals upcoming "The Oedipal Duplex," "A Midsummers Night's Dream" and he is currently at work on Stephen Adley Guirgis' "The Last Days of Judas Iscariot."

He has also done Sound Design for Annex's "Eating Round the Bruise" and GLT's "Measure for Measure," "Three Sisters," "The Skriker," and "The Clouds: A Reality Play" and Stage Managed GLT's "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead" and "The Beaux Stratgem" and Annex Theatre's "When I Come to My Senses I'm Alive."
