I started my professional career singing, dancing in summer stock in Beach Haven,
NJ and then worked in New York City in many black box productions. I
appeared in productions with the Ensemble Studio Theatre, and studied at HB
Studios with Uta Hagen, Alfred Molina, Alice Spivak and Carole Rosenfeld. I moved
to Los Angeles in 1999 where I shot a commercial for Footlocker, appeared in
productions at the MET Theatre and starred in the film, The Human BEEing. Soon
after, I was made a member of Tim Robbins' theatre, The Actors' Gang where I
was cast in "Alagazam", a play Tim Robbins wrote and initially directed with Brent
Hinkley. I also participated in workshops led by Joyce and Shira Piven, Ned Bellamy
and Cynthia Ettinger. I have completed several writing programs at the University of Washington and am a published writer of both fiction and nonfiction. In June 2013 I will be performing the part of Langerhans in Infinity Box Theatre Project's staged reading of Pamela Hobart Carter's "The Robot Decision" at Town Hall.
