My undergrad theatre degree is from Northwestern College and my MFA in theatre performance and playwriting is from CAL ARTS. I have taught classes and workshops to ages 3-80 for about 18 years now and been working in theatre for over twenty. I was an education director at a small community theatre for six years and I conduct theatre workshops at schools and ajudicate at festivals. Currently, I am teaching camps for Greenstage summer 2016..

I mainly work on independent projects in directing and have written scripts specific to the venues that hired me. To get a list of the musicals and scripts I have written please contact me. My last full-length Christmas play I co-wrote with Lydia Crouch and she wrote the music and I directed it at Baylight Dinner Theatre was titled Grace on Deck!  I had a one act in the Seattle Fringe Festival 2013, Hunting Dinosaurs, it is a multi-character show about autism and dinosaurs and it was directed by Jane Ryan. It had a popular run and is getting extended into a full length also making the rounds. If interested in it, please contact me for more information. To see my popular ten minute play Quickie go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KdnFjLpWnQc

I have directed many school and community theatre shows. My last show I directed was at Baylight Dinner Theatre at the Lights of Christmas in Standwood, Christmas on the Tumblin' D by local playwright Tori Ritchey and it played to approximatly 2000 people over the course of 15 performances. I've also directed at Act 1 Theatre in Sumner, WA. It was the dark ensemble comedy Dead Man's Cell Phone by Sarah Ruhl. I have directed small two person shows and up to a double casting situation of 86 children in a school full-length musical. I enjoy coaching individuals also for auditions or playwriting. My largest community theatre musical was directing Oklahoma! with 44 adults for the very first production of Seattle's newest community theatre The Woodland Park Players to two wildly popular sold out shows.

I still love acting and I am beginning to audition more. I enjoyed playing George Read in Reboot Theatre's all female version of the musical 1776. 1776 will had a short run at Seattle Musical Theatre the last weekend in June 2015. A couple of years ago, I did a small part in a film called The Pony Man. I also did an instructional video with Intrepid Learning in April 2013.

To learn more about me check out the photos listed here on TPS from past shows I've directed and written. For my directing and writing resumes I can send them to you on request.
