Cas Pruitt
Cas is a local actor, vocalist, director, musical choreographer and writer. Prior to moving to Washington, her life in the theatre began at the young age of three. She studied theatre under Mark Medoff at the American Southwest Theatre Company at New Mexico State University. Favorite theatre credits include: Masha in Sonya and Vanya and Masha and Spike (Tacoma Arts Live Regional Theatre- Formerly known as The Broadway Center), Allison in Brownie Points (Taproot Theatre), Barbara in Boom (Harlequin Productions), Muriel in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (Theatre Northwest), Mrs. Weston in Emma, (Book It Reparatory), Rita in Educating Rita (Theatre Northwest), Chick in Crimes of the
Heart (Tacoma Actors Guild), Aunt Sarah in Christmas Foundling (Taproot Theatre), Lady Visitor in Under a Mantle of Stars (Harlequin Productions), and Ellie
in Physcopathia Sexualis (Harlequin Productions). 

Directing Credits include The Foreigner (Tacoma Little Theatre), Pride and Prejudice (Lakewood Playhouse), Rainmaker (Lakewood Playhouse), Miracle on 34th Street (Tacoma Little Theatre), Oliver! (Lakewood Playhouse), Big Bad (Gig Harbor Academy), The Wizard of Oz in the Wild West (Gig Harbor Academy), The Velveteen Rabbit (Gig Harbor Academy), James and the Giant Peach (Gig Harbor Academy), Seussical (Tacoma Little Theatre), High School Musical (Tacoma Little Theatre) and Charlottes Web (Tacoma Little Theatre). 

Casi has been involved in bringing theatre education to youth and adults in a variety of capacities for over 15 years. Her favorite “role” is being momma to three incredible children! “Anything can happen if you let it!” - Mary Poppins.


Directing The Producer's at Lakewood Playhouse this Season.  Runs June 7-July 7, 2019.
