Seattle-based freelance dramaturg, writer, and member of Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of the Americas. Past projects include production dramaturgy and the development of new work. Local dramaturgy credits include: Frankenstein, Howl’s Moving Castle, and My Ántonia (Book-It Repertory Theatre), Persuasion and Baskerville (Taproot Theatre Company), and The Rules of Charity (Sound Theatre Company). She was also the curator for Sound Theatre's staged reading series, ILLUMINATE: Six Plays by Deaf and Disabled Playwrights, and was a dramaturg in Umbrella Project’s 2018 Writers Group. Particularly passionate about social justice issues—including equity, diversity, and inclusion—she’s especially interested in the representation of the disability community in theatre. Ms. Kovich holds a Master of Arts in Theatre Arts (emphasis in Dramaturgy) from San Diego State University.
