Riley Gene is a Seattle based actor, director, burlesque performer, and playwright. They are a graduate of Cornish College of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Original Works Theater. They have performed on stage with Seattle Shakespeare Company, Cornish College, The Core Ensemble, and toured with Freehold’s Engaged Theatre Program. In 2015 they founded Runaway Stage Theatrics where they produced, performed, and was awarded Facebook’s “Local Community Action Grant" and helmed the company for three years. Their directing and playwriting debuts were featured in Cornish College’s 10 Minute Play Festival, and recently directed the world premiere of Out in the Open at the Alhadeff Studio in the Seattle Center. They are currently a core producer for The Scratch, assistant directing Washington Ensemble Theatre's Feathers and Teeth, and work as the Content Manager for Cornish College's Theater Department.
