While in Vancouver BC, she co-authored and performed a commissioned new work for the Fort Langley National Historic Site in Langley, British Columbia, and costume designed two productions directed by Eleanor Felton in association with Pacific Theatre in Vancouver: The Taming of the Shrew, and Sarah Ruhl’s Eurydice.
Since moving home to Seattle, she has worked as an actor, improviser, costume designer, backstage dresser, and ticket office representative partnering with Taproot Theatre, ACT Theatre, SecondStory Repertory, Macha Theatre Works, and Dacha Theatre among others. In 2017, she completed the Arts Administration Internship with Taproot Theatre Company, and currently works there as a Road Company actor, Comedy Improv Core Team member and Acting Studio costume designer.
Favorite acting credits include, Clara in The (Improvised) Nutcracker at Taproot Theatre Company under the direction of Marianne Savell, Cordelia (King Lear/Last Leaf Productions) and Borrachio (Much Ado About Nothing/Fern Shakespeare Co.)
Favorite design credits include Kiss Me Kate (Megan Brewer, Seattle Musical Theatre) and Measure for Measure (Erin Day, Backyard Bard).
Audrey is a huge fan of classic texts, especially Shakespeare and Sophocles, and admires the poetic and quirky playwrighting styles of Sarah Ruhl and Tennessee Williams. She adores Golden-Age musicals, site-specific theatre, stage combat, and any theatre with music. She prefers to costume design retro and vintage looks set in the 1920s-1950s.
