Mike has been performing and playing music in the Puget Sound region for nearly twenty years. Active in theater arts from an early age, Mike has performed in California, Arizona, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, and has even done some pretty awesome karaoke in Japan, Australia and Italy (while traveling with a thirty-year career in the food industry).  In addition to onstage musical theater roles, Mike has served as the principle trombonist for such productions as South Pacific, Gypsy and Cabaret.  Mike has been featured in a number of corporate films and videos as an on-camera actor and a voice-over artist.

Mike's first love has always been musical theater.  His favorite roles include Joe (Damn Yankees), Harold Hill (The Music Man), the Judge (Harry Tracy), Jackie (Billy Elliott In Concert), Dave (The Full Monty), and the Host (Side by Side by Sondheim).  Mike will be featured during the holidays in a world premier production of Forest Song (Lesser Known Players), and has appreared recently in "Disney's Tarzan" (Kitsap Forest Theater), in Big Fish (Bainbridge Performing Arts) and in "Oh Coward!" (Port Gamble Theater).

In recent years, Mike has extended his reach by producing and directing and performing in several concert musicals, small-space theater music reviews, and dinner theater cabaret shows and has begun performing as a voice artist and in the on-line book narration talent pool in Seattle.

Mike has always been a character actor, and still has a number of meaty parts on his bucket list, including Sweeny (Sweeny Todd), Mr. Braithewaite or Jackie (Billy Elliott), Emile (South Pacific), George (Aspects of Love), Caldwell B. Cladwell (Urinetown), Fredrik or Carl (A Little Night Music), Charlie Gateau (Assassins), Albin (La Cage aux Folles) and would like to take a shot at a small chorus part (ie: Spear Carrier) in an opera, someday.  And there's always Michael (I Do, I Do).......
