SCENIC & COSTUME DESIGNER + PHOTOGRAPHER
As a theatre professional and designer, Margaret believes that theatre plays an important part in shaping the communities it serves. From the play-choice to the artists brought together on stage, theatrical productions have the responsibilty to inspire and examine the world around us. It is, by far, the most rewarding way to explore the human condition.
Margaret's design for Hoodoo Love at Sound Theatre Company received the Outstanding Scenic Design Gregory Award this year. She credits her assistant Savannah Brittian, a senior at Cornish College, with equal billing as the winner of this award.
Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Design, The University of North Carolina at Greensboro; Greensboro, NC, May 2011
