Maren is a singer, actress and terminal college student who is addicted to NPR, tea of all origins and studying about the French Revolution. She made her theatrical debut many moons ago in Bart's Oliver! with Western Washington Center for the Arts and has continued to fuel her passion for musical theatre with roles including the Witch in Into the Woods (Old Barn), Edith in Pirates of Penzance (Handmade Opera), and Portia in Cinderella (FirstOnStage). She studied classical voice and theatre at Utah State University and University of Northampton with roles in Tennessee Williams' Something Unspoken (Cornelia) and Noel Coward's Present Laughter (Monica). She was a founding member of Achtung! Theatre Company in Logan, Utah. Since returning to Seattle, Maren has been collaborating with the artists at Studio4Seattle on a number of original plays.
