Show Bio

Brian Pucheu is originally from Tranquillity CA.  He began musical theater in Coalinga CA at West Hills Community College, and performed in such shows as Fiddler on The Roof (Perchik), and Guys & Dolls (Nathin Detroit). Later moved to Fresno CA and began to perform with several community theaters and local colleges, appearing in as many shows as would take him.  His favorite shows include; Jekylle & Hyde (Jekyll/Hyde), Calamity Jane (Wild Bill) starring Louise Mandrell, The Drowsy Chaperone (Aldolpho), Phantom of The Opera (Roual), Rocky Horror Show Live (Riff-Raff), Oklahoma! (Curly McClain), Beauty and The Beast (Beast), and Anne Get Your Gun (Frank Butler).  He recently moved to Seattle to continue chasing the dream and follow theater where ever it may lead him.

The Life of Brian

Born in early summer of 1983, Brian started life in the small town of Tranquillity, CA - a farming community of just over 740 residents.  His birth was heralded as the most significant event the town had ever witnessed (according to his parents).  Just as fantastic and wondrous as the birth of his older and younger brothers - but enough about them.  Brian spent the first 18 years of his life there going to school, playing sports, working on the family farm from age 12 on, and generally knowing very little about theater.  After finishing high school he moved to Coalinga, CA, known for its oil fields and being in close proximity to the largest cattle ranch in CA, to attend West Hills Community College.  And that’s when a strange opportunity occurred.  The college theater was short a man for a show and his roommate talked him into auditioning.  As fate would have it, he got in.  He found that he could carry a tune (without a bucket), and the years his mom made him attend cotillion worked in his favor.  A new path began and he was having entirely too much fun.  He kept acting with the college theater, until he moved to Fresno.  He was fortunate enough to be cast with several local theater companies and college productions for 7+ years (all the while performing as often as possible).  It made life fun, yet finding employment tough, being that he refused to give up the stage.  This continued until Dan Pessano (owner/operator of Good Co. Players) approached him with a job working for the company in their scene shop.  Brian took the job with gusto.  And after three and a half happy years working and performing with them, along with 10+ years on stage, Brian finally decided to try life in another city.  He said goodbye to the valley he knew all his life, and moved north to Seattle - where the  new journey is underway…
