Karen DeMasters travelled for 20 years as part of a repertory theater company, Covenant Players. She left their employ in 2005. She received a Masters in Theater from Portland State University in 2008. While at Portland State, she performed as part in the musical "Working" doing the character Rose, as well as performing in "Women and Wallace". She directed "Night Visits", as well. In addition, she wardrobed "Maelstrom, the Zombie Opera". In addition, she taught children's theater at Sabin Elementary School, directing 2 5 minute plays. She was also the drama specialist at YMCA Camp Collins in Gresham, OR, helping several groups of campers improv performances. She is currently employed at St. Matthews Catholic School to direct the 8th Grade Spring Musical "The Mad Adventures of Mr. Toad".
